Being Muslim, I don't exactly celebrate Christmas. Thing is, having so many friends who do celebrate Christmas, I am inadvertently drawn in to the festivities. You know how Christmas is the time you spend with the ones you love? Well for me, I wanna take Christmas to be the time I blog about the ones I love. Now, the list of people I love is quite extensive, so I will talk only about the people I met and/or chatted with this festive season.
First up, Aizat.

I love Aizat because...well, I forgot why. All I know is that when I try to show it, he reacts violently. But Aizat is one person whose 55 cents' worth I will treasure for a lifetime. Someone (I'm not gonna mention who) once wrote this about Aizat: "He is to Maths what Mariah Carey is to singing. He is also to soccer what Mariah Carey is to soccer. But good for him he has a fantastic sense of humour. Otherwise people will think he's the biggest long-haired loser outside of Hanson." We may never know who wrote that, but Aizat, know this: I will always love you for being the most consistent person in my life.
Next up is Bryan.

Bryan is Mister Hip-Hopper. Which means that he likes hip-hop. On a more serious note though, he is generous, fair (in judgment, not skin tone. No wait skin tone applies too) and heterosexual. Reason enough to love a dude right?
But enough with dudes. My love also goes out to Charmaine.

Charmaine is my nightly source of entertainment, the one who tolerates my rubbish, and the one whose rubbish I have to tolerate. She is my muse, the hot friend I'm proud to have, the one I talk to without fear of being judged (which explains all the really bad jokes. I'm so sorry, Charmaine). She is the one who's sweet without being a Hallmark twit. I think one of my highlights of 2007 is talking to you again. Our friendship is blossoming by the day and I'm becoming a Hallmark twit. Much, much love in its sincerest form, babe.
Fourth on the list is Chin Whee. I hope you realise by now that I'm going by alphabetical order and not according to how much I love them. If that was the case, Chin Whee will be named last.

I think Chin Whee is a cute boy who will grow up to be a handsome man. Contrary to popular belief, I have no homosexual feelings for him. He just plays soccer well. And thinks that a long-term relationship lasts 7 months. I think without him, school will be an infinitely duller place.
Similarly, Dewi lights up my life in school.

Isn't she pretty? Yep people, she's my friend. Dewi can be on the wrong side of judgmental, but she can also be the sweetest thing ever. She's so cute my god, but I see her as a sort of mother figure. Yes, yes I know I'm older but still. I feel so safe and cocooned (even though I'm way bigger than her) when I hug her. Yes I know, I'm weird. Shut up. Love you much much Dewi!
Another one of my bestest galz palz is Germaine Pereira.

Germaine also another one. She can complain and bitch like its 1724. But beyond all that is a girl who cares tremendously for her friends, and is fiercely loyal to them. I tell (and show) her everything, and my trust in her is perfect, complete and unbroken. Of course, she can't say the same about me, especially when it comes to punctuality, but I know we share love for one another. Right Germaine? Don't lie lah.
I've known him only for a few months, but Lukas has my utmost respect and love.

Lukas is boyish, caring and always looks out for the ones he loves. Sort of like a protective man in a child's body. Yes something like that. I've stayed over at his house a few times and his hospitality is warm and generous. May the next year bring in more fun, love and joy (I very sincerely mean 'fun, love and joy' because we have that in truckloads) for you, me and the gang.
Another male to add to this sausage fest of an entry, it is time for me to write about Marvin.

Okay Marvin looks like a monkey in here, and that truly does justice to his looks. MUAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA okay I'm joking. This is a bad pic of Marv (I had no other pic) but this guy is a truly handsome man. He has good features la, that's all. Brain-wise, he is the equivalent of a ketupat. But ah, I love his sense of humour. That's all Marvin. Don't start sexually harassing me.
Next is Naveen.

Yes, we're all thinking dirty aren't we? Naveen is one of my primary sources of humour in school. And he isn't funny in that he knows a lot of jokes. It's just that a lot of funny shit happen to him. Not to mention he does a lot of stupid but funny shit himself. He has an IQ of 98 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHHA but he's smarter than that I will vouch for that with my life.
Let's not forget Patrick.

He's the one with the black hoodie. Patpat has good artistic vision, I have to give him that. A good boy who is unfortunately finding his feet in certain social situations. But I'm sure you'll get there. Just remember, you're an SJI boy. Must live up to it okay? We may not like it at times, but hey when we finally do, it's an unbelievable feeling.
Lastly, we have my dear beloved Paul.

You know when two guys connect so much that it seems gay but it's not? Just complete, pure fraternal love... That's what I share with Paul. Yes I admit we've kissed several times but it's nothing...sexual. Yes trust me please. Paul is the ultimate companion: entertaining, deep, and a brilliant conversationalist. Oh plus, he owes me my 75 dollar Zara hoodie. Yes Paul MY hoodie. The picture of him does not do justice to the depth of my words about Paul right? Oh well. HAHAs. Stories in head. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
My god writing Christmas entries about the people I met during the Christmas period is exhausting! But my heart and mind is also with Brandon (who I hold very true in my heart, and is one of my most revered and respected friends - no exaggeration), Candice (who I am hanging out less with and who I miss so dearly these holidays), Cara (who will take care of me next time I'm drunk, right right right?), Geraldine (my one and only in CATS class), Mus, Nas, Nazir (who I'm too lazy to type anything for. I see them nearly everyday anyway, not gonna waste my energy), Sherwin (who lives near me but I hardly see him around BP - what is up with that?), Therese (who I've recently gone through a rough patch with. She must know, though, that I love her tremendously) and everyone else who I know. Yes, including you, Mister Nelson Mandela.
Happy Holidays everyone!
