Just Friends
As I walked to the mall with my best friend by my side, I wondered, "Should I take the chance? Am I truly ready to tell her? Is she ready to hear this? Are my pants zipped?"

I turned to my best friend. He said, "Life is crazy, life is mad. Don't be afraid."

Up above, the crescent moon was forced into a corner of my view by the brilliant stars surrounding it. So far away and yet it was the dominant feature, outside of the backdrop, in the canvas that is the night sky.

Morpheus held millions in his arms.

A million hopes, a million dreams.

I, myself, can only think of one.
