Graphic-Musical Ironies 1: Beautiful Love by The Afters

There have been many, many cases of beautiful people singing ugly songs. So much so that they need videos of half-naked chicks dancing to tie in with the songs so they'd sell. Britney Spears sang 'Oops! I Did It Again'. Ricky Martin sang 'Shake Your Bon Bon'. Victoria Adams sang...well, Victoria Adams sings.

Then there is the case of ugly people who sing really beautiful songs.

Look at Son By Four and their single hit - woops, I mean hit single, 'Purest Of Pain'. Seal has a face only his mother could love. Yet his song 'Kiss From A Rose' is one many people the world over find melodious and breathtaking. Depending on the timeline you're thinking of, Michael Jackson can fit into either category.

Right now though, I want to introduce to you another severe case of ugly people singing a very beautiful song. Ladies and gentlemen, Beautiful Love by The Afters...

Far away, I feel your beating heart
All alone, beneath the crystal stars
Staring into space, what a lonely face
I'll try to find my place with you

What a beautiful smile
Can I stay for awhile?
On this beautiful night
We'll make everything right
My beautiful love, my beautiful love

Larger than the moon, my love for you
Worlds collide as heaven pulls us through
The secret of the world is written in the stars
I'm carrying your heart in mine

What a beautiful smile
Can I stay for awhile?
On this beautiful night
We'll make everything right
My beautiful love

Maybe a greater thing will happen
Maybe all will see
Maybe our love will catch like fire
As it burns through me

What a beautiful smile
Can I stay for awhile?
On this beautiful night
We'll make everything right

My beautiful love
