Don't Fight It If You Don't Know What It Is
So every night I sit on this ledge that overlooks the entire Bukit Panjang. I take in the lights, the meandering Bukit Panjang Road that would eventually branch off to the BKE or the PIE - one towards Johor, further from the heart of Singapore, and the other towards town.
That road that exits into the PIE would eventually lead to SJI, where I grew up as a happy boy.
From this ledge, I could also see the outskirts of Bukit Panjang, into Petir Road where lived until I was 12.
From this ledge I could see my life.
Sometimes I take with me chocolates.
Sometimes I bring up an ice-cream cone and finish it through my musings.
Sometimes I bring with me music.
Songs I could push myself off with.
And I wouldn't fight it if I don't know what it is.
