The works of Actor/Director/Producer Kevin Smith have had a tremendous impact on my life. Here's one that I found particularly brilliant - the movie Chasing Amy. It's about a comic artist named Holden McNeil (played by a still-slightly-talented-and-younger Ben Affleck) who falls for lesbian identified woman, Alyssa Jones (played by Joey Lauren Adams and that voice of hers). Eventually they do get together - she does put aside her sexuality to be with a person who makes her happy. UNTIL he finds out that she's been really naughty before she got with him.
