ShoutOuts, 2006 (A-C)

2006 is coming to an end. I know 2007 is around the bend, but I do not know where I am headed to.

But what I definitely do know is that I have a lot to say to so many people after these past few years. People who have shaped my life, or had left an impression one way or another.

If I could, I'd write an entry for each person and pour my heart out to them. But I have better things to do, and dinner to eat. So people I know, these are for you...

A

Adele Pillai: I hardly talk to you but I think you're one funky munky, Adele.

Airil: Dude, in the few times we've met, I think you're really cool. Take care of my ex-classmate aiite?

Aisyah: Woman, you had one crazy 2006. But hey, things are going to look up for you. Really. Hope to hang out with you again soon.

Aizat: Aizat, Aizat. What will my life be without you? It'll be less funny, it'll be worse that's for sure. And I won't be taking as many buses. Thank you so very much for putting up with me.

Alex: Oh intellectual discussions partner. You're probably one of the best homies I've had this year. You provided entertainment, moral support and a great friendship. I know all this sounds very homosexual, but I mean it man. ORD soon, dude.

Alexis: Haha God, how I've tested you. I guess I just wanna say thank you for trying to be there for me back in JC. But I really didn't want to go down the paths I should rightfully be walking on. And yes, I have a humongous problem with authority. I have deep respect for you nevertheless.

Alvin: Sorry I couldn't fly to London to see you there, man. But I wanna join you in New York soon. And until I can, come back to Singapore as much as you can and fill my brain with wondrous ideas. Yes. That sounded gay. I know.

Amir: I never thought I'll say this, but I really miss your stupid voice and your unibrow man. You made Higher Malay interesting.

Amira: Hello Rai's sister. You have an uncontrollable mouth and no shame. Hahahaha I like that.

Amirah: Cheena Minah. I think you're one of the gentlest souls I know, and in the spirit of anti-climaxes, I shall stop here.

Amogh: God Scorpion was so fun with you around. I know I haven't contacted you in ages. That's because I lost your number. What's the chance of you reading this? As much of a chance as I have with Shiri Appleby. But just in case, I shall put it up here. And I want you to know that I have respected you, trusted you and loved you and that has not changed. You know I use 'loved' non-sparingly in a completely heterosexual manner.

Amrish: Oi Indian. Never lose your soccer touch man.

Amy: So baby, when are you going to play with my angklung? You probably never will. Oh well, your loss. But if I hadn't known you, it'd definitely be my loss.

Anand: Hey other half of Indi-Mat. I miss you man. SJI was a more interesting place because of you.

Angelica: You're from my past, but hey, all the best in whatever you do.
I sincerely hope that all you strive for in life will come to you, and that your life will be a happy one.

Anuar: Well, it's been good to know you - You've really taught me a lot in the time we've known one another as fellow trainers at BCTC. All the best for the future.

Ardlee: Officer-in-charge, comrade and friend. What good would NS be if you hadn't been there? I know I've always been getting myself into too much trouble, but your patience and your guidance will stick to me even after NS.

Ashraff: You were one of my closest friends in primary school, and it was good to bump into you again this year at the street soccer court. I've always respected your kindness and your honesty, and I would like you to know that.

Athia: Helllooooooo cuz. See you soon over at KL. Keep the jokes coming!

B

Benjamin: We were colleagues for a very short while, but I liked you a lot in that short while. You were really nice to talk to. Don't let Captain Ardlee bully you. Muahahahahhaha.

Ben Chiew: Chocolate buffet forever, oh Jamie Carragher hybrid. You're a top class defender man, really. At our level I mean.

Brenda: Yo hot stuff. *squirts water in your face. Okay people who don't know what I'm talking about are gonna think we're some weird kinky couple. But they will never understand how much fun we had huh?

Brian Steven Lowe: Hah how's that, I spelt out your full name. I remember you. How can I not? We're Josephians. We were ruggers. We had fun man!

Brian Surguine: Hey DJ Whiteman! God I haven't talked to you in a damn long time. Sometimes I think about our times in Ipoh. The time we spent together in CJC first 3 months. Those days have truly made my life a richer one.

Bryan Zhao: Relay partner, fellow sprinter, friend. Give me a ride in your Daddy's car one day man.

Bryan Ng: You multi-talented bastard you. I am proud to be your senior.

C

Caleb: Look inside Caleb's pants and you will find....PANTIES! You have no idea how much I miss you (referring to Caleb, not panties) and the times we've had together as classmates. Seriously. You are not Neo though, Caleb. You're more of a sentinel. No. A sentinel's tentacle. Wearing a panty.

Calvin Klein Underwear: I used to wear you, but now you've gotta loosen up a bit, you know? You're too tight.

Charmaine: Ah well, shit happens huh? Your boyfriend's kinda irritating, but I hope the two of you will be happy together for a long long time.

Chen Chen: Medic! Oi Chinese High kid. Go kiss Mao lah. Hahahahha and Chelsea can eat my shorts. You - I respect enough to not have you do that. But you gotta change your taste in soccer teams man.

Cheryl Tan: Haha I've finally told you what I wanted to tell you since J1. You're so important to me. Not in the ballistic-missiles-are-important-to-China way, but in that there will always be room for you in my life. I'll never forget you.

Cheryl Hong: I'm sorry for the way things turned out between us. But you're a fantastic girl. Remember that.

Cheryl Josias: Hey fellow house captain. You love animals and I like that. Most importantly though, you've got the personality of an angel, and I am glad I know you.

Chris Tulsidaz: Dude. I will always remember rugby in SJI when you were one of the people I could really talk to. And CJC first 3 months! Oh man, nothing in my life ever compared to that. And I am forever grateful that you have provided me those memories.

Crescens: Hey man. Truthfully, I got a lot out of training with you in SA track. You shared a lot with me and it really improved my sprinting. Thanks a billion.

Crystle: Hello Miss Part-Time Model! Hanging out with you has always been fun, both in a juvenile way, and ironically, in an intellectual way too. You know what I'm talking about. Hope to see you soon!
