Rage Against The Machine

Ever heard a Singaporean dude say he grew dumber ever since donning the camouflage uniform of his army, while he serves his nation during the aptly-named national service? Well, millions of people who populate this Earth have not, ranging from eskimos, who do not get around a lot, to Paris Hilton. But here, locally, the concept is one as cliche as relating men who shave their legs to homosexuality.

I wouldn't deny the statement of course. There is a reason why it grew into a cliche. But I wouldn't blame the combat capabilities taught by the military. Learning how to breach barbed wire does not turn you blonde. I think the reason for the drop in IQ is the authority in the army. I don't need to say more. The people who will connect with this entry will know enough without me having to elaborate.

But like I told my homie Sylvester, we will grow up and change the world. We've been growing up with a lot of heart about us. We grew up with tolerance, our souls imbued with the values of loyalty and friendship.

I think our brand of justice will prevail. The paths we took as we grow up will ensure it.
